Dr. Jonathon Myers was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, and became interested in physical therapy as a competitive boxer and kickboxer who, due to multiple injuries, learned firsthand the healing power of physical therapy. Jon attended the University of Nevada, Reno, for his first two years of college during which he fought for the UNR boxing team. He then transferred to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
Jon received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro University Nevada where he studied the protective function of striking sports for the shoulders of throwing athletes. Following graduation Dr. Jon continued his education in the treatment of orthopedic injuries and became board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Jon enjoys working with patients of all types and truly believes that for the best outcomes treatment must be a team effort between the patient and the therapist.
Jon lives in Costa Mesa with his wife, Nicole. During their free time they can be found walking their dog Max, jogging and bicycling on the beach, hiking and exercising. Jon is an avid reader and when he is not outdoors can almost always be found with a book in hand.
