James “Jimmy” DiMascio was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology in 2012 and then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UNLV in 2017. Jimmy worked for a short time in Las Vegas prior to moving to Southern California. Throughout his time as an outpatient physical therapist, he has gained experience working with a variety of patients: post-operative rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, low back and neck pain, and many others.
Dr. Jimmy’s treatment philosophy centers around manual therapy to improve joint mobility and soft tissue restrictions in order to facilitate efficient movement patterns. He believes that every patient is different and their treatment program should be individualized based on their limitations and their personal goals. Not only does he aim to improve his patients’ orthopedic condition, but he emphasizes general health, wellness, and nutrition/hydration with all patients.
In his free time, Jimmy enjoys running, playing volleyball and basketball, golfing, snowboarding, camping, hiking, and spending time with his fiancee Hailey and their dogs Rylee and Lucy.
