Cristina Guerrero
Cristina Guerrero was born and raised in Los Angeles, California completing her undergraduate degree at University of California, Irvine in Biology. After working in cancer research for several years, she realized she wanted to have direct patient contact and found physical therapy as the perfect career fit. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree at California State University, Long Beach. Here she was involved in research of the effects of pregnancy on hip and core strength in postpartum women. Cristina completed her clinical rotations in sports orthopedics, neuromuscular rehabilitation, and general orthopedics and continues to have a passion for each of these areas of physical therapy.
Cristina currently lives in Long Beach and enjoys spending her free time in any outdoor setting. She can usually be found out on the water stand-up paddleboarding, on the sand playing volleyball, or biking along the water-front.
