Andrew Hodge
Andrew Hodge earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton. After completing his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Hodge earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California. While at USA Dr. Hodge experienced clinical rotations in a variety of settings, including outpatient orthopedics, worker’s compensation, and a spinal cord unit.
Dr. Hodge grew up in southern California, playing ice hockey from a young age, and played competitively through college, where he was a captain of the CSU Fullerton Titan ice hockey team. A series of major injuries while playing in college led Dr. Hodge to realize the significant impact physical therapy can have, not only on musculoskeletal injuries, but on daily function, emotional health, and overall well-being. Having been a patient countless times, Dr. Hodge strives to relate to his patients on a personal level and work together to return them to the activities they love. Dr. Hodge utilizes his extensive training in manual therapy to address various dysfunctions of joints and muscles in order to optimize the body’s movement and provides targeted and personalized exercise programs to support that movement and restore function.
Outside of the clinic Dr. Hodge enjoys playing, officiating, and watching hockey, and has been a lifelong fan of the Anaheim Ducks. He is certified by USA Hockey as a Level 5 (Master) coach and a Level 3 on-ice official. He is always happy to talk hockey, music, good food, and photography, and you can see several of his photos hanging in the clinic.
